Award Announcement of the “Meet China” International Communication Section

Award Announcement

The final jury deliberation for the “Meet China” International Communication Section of the 7th EU-China Film Festival has been successfully concluded. We are now pleased to officially announce the list of award-winning works for this year.

The “Meet China” section has consistently focused on outstanding works that demonstrate international vision, communicative power, and cultural depth. This year’s final jury was composed of experts from both China and Europe. Upholding both professional standards and international perspectives, the jury conducted multiple rounds of in-depth evaluation and collective deliberation, assessing submissions across dimensions including cultural value, artistic expression, communication impact, and thematic innovation, before reaching the final decision.

The awarded works vividly showcase the diversity of Chinese storytelling and offer global audiences fresh and compelling ways to understand contemporary China. They reflect a deep engagement with cultural narrative and a conscious articulation by Chinese creators within international contexts. These works stand as powerful examples of China’s cultural outreach, while also representing important explorations in fostering value resonance, emotional connection, and cultural linkage within the global public sphere.

The “Meet China” International Communication Section will continue to collaborate with creators from China and abroad to promote the global circulation of Chinese audiovisual storytelling, and to bring more authentic, diverse, and vibrant Chinese stories to the world.
