The 11th China-Europe Youth Film Festival will be held in October 2025 in Brussels, Belgium for the first time. The Central European Youth Film Festival was founded by the China-EU Film Festival , and is the only international youth film festival jointly supported by China and the EU

The application deadline for this year’s film selection is July 10, 2025.

Requirements for Entires
1. Theme of the work
The subject matter is not limited and may not include content such as pornography, violence and racial discrimination.
2. Participating Groups
[Youth group] requires the creator to be 18-35 years old (when the creation is completed).
[Middle school students group] requires that the creator be in school or elementary school (when the creation is completed).
3. Participants
Entrants should be Chinese (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) and international authors who meet the requirements of the youth and middle school categories, and the youth group is not limited to school students.
Entrants must be members of the creator team of the entries, and collaborating authors may sign jointly to participate.
4. Genre of work:
The types of works are not restricted, including feature films, documentaries, animated films, experimental short films, short videos, vlogs, promotional films, advertisements, and AI-generated short films, among others.
5. Film requirements:
1) H264 encoding, MP4 / MOV format.
2) The length of a single short video project should not exceed 5 minutes, and the size of the entries should not exceed 1 GB. If you use a series of short video projects to compete, one to three short video projects with a total length of not more than 10 minutes can be selected.
3) Other types of entries should not exceed 40 minutes in length, and the entry file size should not exceed 4GB.
6. Subtitle requirements:
Entry to final examination must be accompanied by subtitles in both Chinese / French or Chinese / English.

Sign up for the competition:
1) Chinese authors can “EU-CHNFILM” fill in the registration information and register according to the requirements;
2) You can contact the organizing committee staff to get and fill out the registration form, upload the work to the network disk and send the download link, registration form and stills, posters to the official email eucnff@eucnff.com 。
3) If none of the above methods is possible, please contact staff regarding registration through the official contact information of the Organizing Committee.
