On the day of his college entrance exams, Qiao learns of his father’s sudden death; the eulogy left unsaid haunts him for years. A decade later, now an engineer, he rebuilds his father in a VR boxing program, using AI to spar with memories of the past. As the digital figure grows increasingly lifelike, the boundary between reality and memory blurs. Qiao must decide whether this “second round” can bring closure—or bind him forever to his father’s shadow.
