The 12th China-EU Youth Film Festival Youth Unit received 1,472 submissions. Bright, dark, out of focus, overexposed, silent, sharp, light and humid: these works arrive with different speeds and textures, carrying unfinished farewells, oblique gazes, suddenly precise dialogue and frames still marked by the noise of reality. Their colours have not yet been corrected, their sound has not yet been polished, and their feelings still have edges. They are still growing, but they already have their own direction.
