About the Section<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Meet China<\/em> International Communication Section is organized by the EU\u2013China Film Festival<\/strong>. Supported by both China and the European Union, the festival is a long-standing international film festival platform based in Europe. It focuses on the presentation and exchange of Chinese audiovisual content within the European public cultural context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, the festival has established stable partnerships with local cultural institutions, universities, and public platforms, continuously organizing screenings and exchange activities across multiple European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its inception, the Meet China<\/em> section has presented selected works in various European cities through screenings, dialogues, and accompanying cultural activities, offering a sustainable and operational pathway for Chinese audiovisual content to enter European public cultural systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2026, the Meet China<\/em> International Communication Section will continue to invite Chinese audiovisual works with strong international communication potential. Selected works will be incorporated into the festival\u2019s annual exchange program and will participate in screenings and exchange activities held in Belgium, France, North Macedonia<\/strong>, and other European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through real-world communication scenarios, these works will form citable international communication practices<\/strong> and serve as official outcomes for participating institutions\u2019 global outreach efforts, presented directly to European audiences, cultural institutions, and professional communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This section is open to audiovisual works from China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan)<\/strong> and worldwide that demonstrate cross-cultural communication potential and innovative expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
